Directions
From the Munich Airport (MUC, 'Franz Joseph Strauss')
From the Munich Airport take the S-Bahn line S1 (direction Ostbahnhof/Munich-East or Leuchtenbergring) to Laim. Change there and take the bus line 51 (direction Moosach) as far as Hischgartenallee. Walk northbound along Hirschgartenallee street until you reach the palace courtyard, where the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation is immediately to your right.
We do not recommend you travelling via the Munich West Airport (FMM, 'Allgäu-Airport Memmingen') as it is 120 km (75 miles) away from the City of Munich.
From the Central Train Station (München Hauptbahnhof)
From the northern tram station of Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof Nord) take the tram line 17 (direction Amalienburgstraße) to Schloss Nymphenburg. Walk along the palace channel towards the palace. The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation is located in the southern corner of the palace courtyard, right next to the palace.
From the Central Coach Station (ZOB)
The Munich Central Coach Station (ZOB) is located right south of Hackerbrücke tram station (not to be mistaken with the S-Bahn station), from where you can take the tram line 17 (direction Amalienburgstraße) to Schloss Nymphenburg. Walk along the palace channel towards the palace. The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation is located in the southern corner of the palace courtyard, right next to the palace.
